One of the garden projects I hadn't got around to until now was a cold frame. Not sure exactly how this will progress, but I decided it will go adjacent to my home made mini-greenhouse which is attached to the back of my shed. My shed has power and it will be easy to cable into it a small heater. Anyway today, even though it was only 2 degrees and very wet I scraped away the wood chip mulch and turned over the ground where the cold frame will be situated. Watch this space!

The square foot garden beds need clearing of weeds and new compost adding. This time last year they were covered with a meter of snow!

This is the state of the strawberry bed which started as a square foot garden but I have removed the string and will confine runners to the bed but let it do its own thing. Hoping for a good crop this year.
