I went a bit daft yesterday on ebay, ended up buying a GPS receiver HI-204E Series which hopefully will plug into my laptop and be my navigation system both on the canal and in my car. I have also bought Auto-route 2005 which is supposed to be street level mapping for all of Europe and integrates with the GPS.
